Red Tree Gurukul

Our place, Red Tree Gurukul, is located at Plot Number 86 on Majitha Road here in Amritsar. We are part of the City Avenue Estate, right near S G Enclave. It’s a decent area, not too far from the main road but quiet enough that we can actually get some work done. We started this because we wanted a local spot for students to come and focus. The building is simple, nothing too flashy on the outside. Inside, we have rooms set up with basic furniture and some shelves for books. We spend most of our time sitting with students or grading papers. It’s not a corporate office with a dress code or anything like that. We usually wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of teaching. Sometimes we have tea while we talk to parents about how their kids are doing. The parking outside can be a bit of a headache during the busy hours, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest school in the city. We just want to make sure the kids who come here learn something useful. There’s a lot of paper everywhere and the whiteboard usually has some old notes from the previous day still on it. It’s just a regular, working classroom environment. We like it that way because it feels more like a home than a stiff office.
