Kamal Beauty Parlour & Training Centre

We are located at Shop Number- 10 on Ajnala Road, which is in the Meera Kot area of Amritsar. Our shop is near the Bhala Gurudwara Sahib and close to Jail Nagar and Hargobind Avenue. It is a busy little corner of the city. Being a beauty parlour and a training centre means there is always something going on. We have the main area for the customers and then some space where the students can practice. There are various stools and tables spread around. The walls are mostly covered with mirrors so the girls can see what they are doing while they learn. It gets quite loud sometimes with everyone talking at once. We spend a lot of time teaching the basics, like how to hold the thread or the scissors correctly. Outside, the traffic on Ajnala Road never seems to stop. You can hear the sounds from the Gurudwara at certain times of the day, which is nice. We have a lot of local women coming in from the nearby avenues for their regular work. It is a practical environment, not something you would see in a magazine. We have some plastic chairs for waiting and a small desk where we keep our accounts and student names. It's just a place of learning and work that has become part of the neighborhood over the years. We stay open late most days to finish all the tasks and keep things moving.
