Ams Beauty Classes

I started Ams Beauty Classes a while ago here in Amritsar, right on Street Number 2 off Lawrence Road. If you know the area, it is at 14 E. It isn't a massive corporate school or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we teach people how to do hair, makeup, and skin treatments. Mostly, we get young girls from around the neighborhood who want to learn a skill so they can work or start something of their own. The rooms are basic, but we have the tools needed. We spend a lot of time on the chairs practicing. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when everyone is working on their models, but it’s a good kind of busy. I think people like coming here because we don't make things complicated. We just show how it's done in a real salon. We use regular products you find in the market. It is a straight-to-the-point kind of place. If you are looking for us, we are quite easy to find once you get onto Lawrence Road. Just look for the sign near the corner of the street. We’re usually here from morning until the evening. It’s been a good journey so far, seeing students finish their course and go off to find jobs. That is pretty much what we do every day here. We just teach what we know in a way that makes sense for real life.
