Revel Dale Public School

This school is located in V.P.O. Rangarh, right near Attari in the Amritsar district. Because we are so close to the border area, it is a very specific kind of environment. It is mostly rural around here, with lots of farmland stretching out in every direction. Most of the families who send their children to us are locals from the village or the nearby settlements. The school itself is a plain building that sits amongst the fields. We don't have the big city amenities, but we make do with what is available. The walk to the school can be quite muddy when it rains, but the kids still make it in. We have a small playground and a few rows of classrooms that stay pretty busy from morning until the afternoon. It is a quiet life out here for the most part, away from the noise of Amritsar city. The teachers are often from the same background as the students, so everyone knows each other. We don't have a lot of expensive equipment, just the basic supplies needed for a regular school day. We spend our time making sure the lessons are finished and that the kids have a safe place to be while they are away from home. It is honest work in a very quiet part of the country, and we just keep the gates open every day.
