Ravi Trader

You can find Ravi Trader right in Sanghedia Bazar, specifically at Selarsha Chowk. We are opposite the Dargah, at a spot called Fashion Point. It’s a very busy area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. My shop isn’t very big, but we pack a lot into it. I spend most of my day standing near the front or talking to the other shopkeepers nearby. We sell various things, whatever people seem to need at the time. It gets crowded in here sometimes, and it can get pretty hot during the summer months. I don't have a team of fancy sales people, it's usually just me and maybe a family member helping out. We know a lot of the regulars who come by to chat as much as they do to buy stuff. The shelves are a bit disorganized, I’ll admit that. I try to keep track of everything, but sometimes things get buried under a new shipment. Dealing with suppliers is a big part of the work. I have to make sure I’m getting items that people actually want to spend their money on. It’s a tough business sometimes with all the competition around the chowk, but we’ve stayed open this long. It’s just a normal shop in a normal market. No frills, just business.
