Khasa Distillery Company

Khasa Distillery Company is located in Khasa, and our post office is actually named P.O. Distillery. We are in the Khasa district, which is a bit of a drive from the main city of Amritsar. The distillery has been here for a very long time, and the buildings show their age in a good way. It’s a big site with high walls and lots of space for the brewing and distilling process. The office is right inside the gate. It is an old-fashioned space with high ceilings and big windows. We don’t have any of those modern office pods or fancy lighting. It’s just solid desks and a lot of ledgers. Most of the people who work here are locals from the nearby villages. There is a strong sense of routine here. The smell of the grain being processed is always in the air, which we have all grown used to. We don't have a marketing department or people in suits walking around. It’s more about the production and the day-to-day management of the distillery. We work with the farmers for the grain and handle the distribution from the yard where the trucks load up. In the winter, the fog around Khasa can be very thick, which slows things down, but we just keep the fires going and continue our work. It is a very traditional way of running a business, focused on the product and the community around us. We don't change things unless we really have to.
