Rajeshwari Traders

You can find us over at Rajeshwari Traders, which is tucked away in room 306 of the Shreyash Complex. Being right behind Dinesh Hall means we hear a lot of music and noise from events, which keeps things from getting too dull during the afternoon slump. We are quite close to the Income Tax office on Ashram Road, so the traffic around here can be a real headache some days. Our office is a bit small, mostly filled with stacks of ledgers and a couple of old desks that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out receipts by hand. It isn't a high-tech setup, just a few of us trying to keep the orders straight and the inventory moving. The elevator in this building is a bit temperamental, so we often end up taking the stairs, which is good for the legs I suppose. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the chai guy downstairs knows exactly how we like our tea. It’s a quiet kind of business, mostly dealing with people we’ve known for years. We don’t do much advertising because most folk just find us through word of mouth or they see our sign while they are heading to the main road. It gets dusty with the windows open, but we like the breeze. Just a normal trading office, really, where we try to stay organized and get through the paperwork before the day ends.
