R.S. Mehra International is tucked away at 2595/3 in Katra Ahulwalia. If you know the area, you know how tight the lanes can be and how much is always going on. It’s an old part of the city, full of history and a lot of trade. Our place is part of that fabric. We deal with international bits and pieces, but we operate like any other local shop in the Katra. It’s crowded, noisy, and full of life from sunup to sundown. The shop isn't big, but we make the most of the space we have. There’s always someone coming in with a query or a package. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the walls probably have stories to tell if they could talk. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush chairs or a reception desk. It’s more about the ledgers, the boxes, and getting the work done. The heat in the summer can be a bit much, but we have our fans running to keep the air moving. We know most of the other traders around here by name. It’s a community. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks, making sure the orders are right and things are moving. Sometimes the narrow streets make deliveries a bit of a nightmare, but we manage somehow. That’s just part of being in Katra Ahulwalia. It’s an honest way to make a living for us.
