Our place is located out at the 9th Mile Stone on Kashmir Road. Being that far out of the main city means we have a bit more space, but it’s a long drive for anyone coming from the center. The road is always full of heavy trucks and long-distance travelers. Nrc Industries is an industrial site, so it looks like what you’d expect—lots of metal, concrete, and machinery. We do manufacturing here, and the noise is pretty constant during the shift hours. It can get lonely out here sometimes, but we have a good crew that stays on site. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that because we aren't a retail shop. It’s a place where things get built and loaded onto trailers. The wind blows quite a bit across the open road, especially in the winter months. We have a gate with a small guard post to keep things secure. People usually miss the turn if they aren't looking for the mile marker. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on the production schedule and making sure the machines are running right. There isn't much else around us except a few dhabas and other industrial spots. It’s a hard-working environment, and we like it that way. We don't need the city distractions to get our jobs done. Every day is about keeping the line moving and meeting the delivery deadlines for the trucks.
