If you walk through the Hall Gate area and head towards the Old Mewa Mandi, you will find Adarsh Ball Bearing Store. We have been in this part of town for a good long time. It is an old market, so it is always crowded and a bit dusty, but that is just how it is around here. We keep a lot of stock on the shelves because people usually need a specific size right then and there. It is mostly metal and grease smells inside. We do not spend much on decorations or fancy lights. The counter is where we spend most of the day, looking through catalogs or measuring parts for customers who bring in their old broken bearings. Some folks have been coming to us for years because they know exactly where we are tucked away in the Mandi. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside Hall Gate, but we do not mind it. Dealing with ball bearings isn't a clean job, so our hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. We just open up in the morning, sort the new stock, and wait for whoever needs a part for their machine or vehicle. There isn't much more to it than that. We just stay busy with the local trade and keep the shop open for the neighborhood. It is a simple life and we are used to the routine.
