Car Shingar

Car Shingar is located at 9 Queens Road. We’ve been on Queens Road for a long time, and most people around here know the spot. It’s a straightforward business. We work on cars and make sure they look a bit better than when they arrived. The shop is usually full of tools and parts. It isn't the cleanest place in the world, but that’s because we are actually working. I’m usually there from the morning, getting things ready. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. People just drop their cars off and we chat for a bit about what needs doing. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't use big words or try to sell people things they don't need. If something is broken, we say it’s broken. If it just needs a bit of a polish, we do that. Being on Queens Road is convenient for most folks. We’ve seen the cars change from old models to these new fancy ones, but the work stays pretty much the same. It’s just me and a couple of guys who know their way around an engine and a chassis. We don't have a website with fancy photos. We just have our hands and our tools at number 9. It's a living and we take pride in getting the job done right. People seem to appreciate the honesty more than anything else.
