The name My Big Ambition Khetiwala Agro Private Limited sounds like a lot, but we are actually just based at Sh. Jagdish Chand’s place in village Dalmas. It’s a very local operation. We are right in the heart of the village, so we see the farming life every single day. The office is really just a room where we keep our papers and talk to the guys from the nearby fields. Dalmas is a quiet place most of the time, which is nice for focusing on work. We call ourselves Khetiwala because that’s what we are at the end of the day—people of the farm. We don’t have any corporate slogans or polished uniforms. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for a day of work. We handle various agro tasks and try to help the local community grow their business too. It’s a bit of a challenge sometimes being away from the main city, but we like it here. The air is better and we know our neighbors. Jagdish Chand has been here a long time, so his name is like a landmark for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s about being part of the land and making sure the crops are looked after. Nothing more, nothing less.
