Mm Agro

Mm Agro is situated at Plot No-N-D-91 on Tanda Road in Vikram Pura. It’s an industrial sort of area with lots of trucks moving back and forth. We handle agricultural products here. The building is a large shed with a high tin roof that gets very loud when it rains. We spend a lot of time sorting through grains and seeds that come in from the farms. There’s always a fine layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. Tanda Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the horns and the engines. We have some basic sorting machines and a few weighing scales. Most of the work is just manual labor, moving heavy sacks around and stacking them properly. We don't have any air conditioning, just some big industrial fans that move the air a bit. In Vikram Pura, you see a lot of these kinds of businesses. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the basic agro-processing work. Some days the electricity is a bit patchy, so we have to wait around for the power to come back on. We have a small crew and we all just pitch in where needed. There's no real hierarchy here; we just want to get the bags filled and loaded. By the end of the day, we are all pretty tired and covered in dust. We lock the gate and head out.
