Aulakh Overseas

Our office is at 71-C, right on Gali No. 2. It’s a busy spot in Gurlal Bazar. If you are looking for us, we are in New Partap Nagar. Most locals just look for Preet Nursing Home because we are right near there. It makes it easier to explain to people who aren’t from this part of town. Aulakh Overseas has been in this building for a while now. It’s not a fancy place, just some desks and a lot of filing cabinets. The walls are a bit plain and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but we don't mind much. Working in overseas services means we spend a lot of time on the phone and dealing with documents. Sometimes the street outside gets really noisy with the rickshaws and people talking, so we have to close the windows. My brother and I run the daily stuff. We drink tea from the stall around the corner a few times a day. It helps us stay focused when the paperwork gets too much. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We just do our work and try to help people out with what they need. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, other days it’s a total mess with everyone coming in at once. We like the neighborhood though. The people here are friendly and it feels like home. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the shop owners on Gali No. 2.
