Ista Hotel

Ista Hotel is right on the main GT Road in Amritsar. We are basically next door to the Alpha One City Centre mall, which makes the whole area very lively and crowded. Being at Mbm Farms means we have a bit of space, but you can still hear the highway traffic all day and night. It is a large building, and we have a lot of staff working different shifts to keep the place going. People stay here for all sorts of reasons, some are just passing through on the way to the border and others are here to visit the Golden Temple. We have people working in the kitchen, others cleaning the rooms, and some at the front desk. It is a lot of coordination every day. The lobby usually has people waiting for taxis or checking their phones. We do not try to be anything we are not; it is just a big hotel where people come to sleep and eat. Sometimes the road outside gets really jammed up with cars, especially on weekends when everyone is heading to the mall next door. We just focus on the work at hand, like getting the laundry done or making sure the breakfast buffet is set out on time. It is a busy life here on the GT Road, and we are just part of the local scenery. We just make sure the doors stay open and the rooms are ready for whoever arrives next.
