Wavar Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of Amravati, specifically over at P.N. 78 in Sadhna Vihar. You can find us at Prashant Vijayrao Shelke’s place most days. We are just a group of people from the area who decided it was time to put our heads together for the farming work. It gets really busy during the planting season and sometimes we don't even have time to clean the office properly. It’s a bit cramped with all the registers and bags around, but it works for us. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation that nobody can talk to. We’re just local folks. Amravati has its challenges, especially with the water and the market shifts, but being here in Sadhna Vihar makes it easy for members to drop in. We talk about the crops, the prices, and the problems we face on our own land. There are days when nothing seems to go right and we just have to figure it out as we go. We don’t have a script or a polished way of doing things. It’s just us trying to keep the work moving and making sure the farmers get a fair deal. We know each other's families and that’s how we prefer to run things. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real work that we do every single day for the community in our part of the district.
