Arka Mahila Shetkari Producer Companylimited is a local group based in Ramnagar. We are located at Sau Manglatai Vijayrao Wagh’s place in the Morshi taluka of the Amravati district. It’s a women’s producer company, which is something we are proud of, though we don't go around shouting about it. We just do our work. The office is simple, just a room where we can meet and talk about the farming. Ramnagar is a quiet area and it’s a good spot for us. We don't have any fancy equipment or big corporate offices. We mostly focus on what’s happening in the fields around Morshi. Amravati is a big district, but we stay focused on our own little corner. We don't use any complicated marketing talk. We just speak plainly about the things we need for the season. Sometimes the meetings go on for a long time because there is a lot to discuss with all the members. We handle the accounts and the registration as best as we can. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we take it one step at a time. Being at Manglatai’s house makes it feel more like a family business than a big corporation. We just want to keep working and making sure things are steady for the families in our group.
