Parnanetra Farmer Producer Company Limited started because a few of us in Amravati felt we needed to organize. We are based out of Liladhar Salode’s place at 10A Vasundhara Colony, right near VMV Road. It’s a quiet spot, but it’s where all the planning for our farming collective happens. We are all about the local growers here in the Amravati area. Farming is tough work, and the market doesn't always treat us fair when we go it alone. By forming this company, we can pool our harvests and get better deals on things like fertilizer and equipment. We aren't some distant corporation. We are the same people you see at the local market every week. Liladhar was kind enough to let us use his space in the Vasundhara Colony Gruh Nirman Sanstha area to get things organized. It’s simple, honest work. We spend a lot of time discussing what crops are doing well and how to handle the challenges that come up every season. Being on VMV Road makes it easy for us to connect with other folks in the region. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment in the office, just the basics to keep things running. Our main focus is always on the land and making sure the farmers involved get what they deserve for their hard work. It's just a local effort by local people to keep our farms going and our traditions alive.
