Bhuvikas Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group, Bhuvikas Farmers Producer Company Limited, operates out of the V V K Society building over in Gunjalwadi, which is part of the Arvi area. It is a quiet spot where a few of us started working on ways to manage our farming business together. We have all been working the land for as long as we can remember. It is just what everyone does around here in our village. We decided to put our names together so we could have a bit more strength when we are buying supplies or trying to sell our crops. It’s mostly just us local folks trying to figure things out as we go. We don’t have a big team or any professional staff. When you come by the society office, you will usually find one of us hanging around talking about the latest rain or how much the seeds are costing this season. We keep our records in a couple of old cabinets and try to stay organized, which is not always easy when there is so much work to be done in the fields. Most days are very long and we are quite tired by the time the sun goes down. We don't spend any money on big signs or advertisements because that isn't really our style. We just want to make sure the crops get planted properly and sold so we can keep going for another year. It’s a simple life and we like it that way.
