We are a group of farmers from this area who decided that working by ourselves just wasn't enough anymore. The price of everything we need, like diesel and fertilizer, keeps going up every year. We thought if we formed a producer company, we could manage these costs a little better. Chandur Bazar is a busy town, and we are right there in the middle of things. We grow whatever is in season. Farming is always a gamble. You put your seeds in the ground and then you just wait for the rain and pray it isn't too heavy or too light. Most of us are small-scale farmers with just a few acres each. We don't have fancy degrees or big titles, we just know our land and how to work it. Nilesh helps out with the paperwork because there is quite a lot of it for a registered company. It can be a real struggle dealing with all the government forms, but it is necessary for us to move forward. We want to be able to sell our produce directly to get a better price. We share tips on how to improve the harvest and help each other out. It’s a community effort to make sure our families are okay and that we keep our lands for years.
