In the village of Satargaon, life follows the seasons, and that is exactly how we work at Vitthalkrupa Farmer Producer Company. Our office is just a simple place in Ward No. 1, right in the heart of the community here in Amravati. Most of us are from around here, so we know the families and the land pretty well. Being a farmer producer company means we spend a lot of time sitting around talking with the local growers about what they’re planting and what the prices look like this year. It isn’t always easy work, especially when the rain doesn’t come when it’s supposed to. We try to group together so we can get better deals on things like seeds or selling what we grow. There’s a lot of sitting on the porch at the office, drinking tea while we figure out the latest government forms. The road to Nandgaon Kh can be a bit rough after a storm, but we manage to get things moved.
