You can find us at House Number 0276 in Pusada, which is in the Amravati district. We have been operating from here for a while now. The village of Pusada is where most of our members live and work. We started Titiksha because we wanted to create a system where the farmers in our area could support one another. Farming in Amravati has its own set of challenges, from the heat to the way the water flows during the monsoon. We spend a lot of time just talking to each other about what seeds are holding up best and where we can find parts for the tractors. It is not a fancy operation by any means. Our office is just a room with some chairs and a desk where we keep the records. We believe in keeping things simple. There is no need for big words or complicated plans. We just want to make sure that when we grow our crops, we have a way to sell them that does not leave us with nothing at the end of the month. A lot of folks here have been farming since they were kids, so there is a lot of local knowledge in the group. We just try to put that knowledge to good use. It is about being practical and looking out for the people we live next to. That is really all there is to it. We just do the work and hope for a good season.
