Our spot is pretty easy to find since we are right near the bus stand here in Digras Bk. It makes it simple for the members to drop by when they are coming into town for errands. Being in the Patur tehsil, we have a lot of local folks involved. We named the company Shri Sopinath Maharaj because he's important to us here in the Akola district. It’s a group of us farmers working on things together rather than trying to handle every single problem on our own. Usually, you’ll find one or two of us around the office talking about the rains or what the market prices are looking like this week. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the buses are coming and going outside. We handle the collection of what we grow and try to get better deals on seeds and tools. There’s no big boss in a suit here. We all get our hands dirty. Sometimes we have meetings to figure out the next steps for the season, and it can get a bit loud with everyone having an opinion. That’s just how it goes when you have a lot of people who care about their land. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If there’s work to be done, we do it. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this local office where we keep our records and meet up to talk shop. It’s a basic, hard-working environment.
