Sharad Chandra Pawar Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located in Haturna, which is part of the Warud taluka in the Amravati district. Our group is called Sharad Chandra Pawar Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. We use a house there, number 453/1 in Ward Number 1, as our home base. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any means. It is just a place where we gather to sort out our farming business. Amravati is known for its agriculture, and we are right in the middle of it. Most of us who started this have been farmers for decades. We know the soil and we know how hard it can be to make a profit sometimes. By forming this company, we are just trying to help ourselves and our neighbors in Haturna get a better handle on things. We don't have any big marketing speeches or a team of experts. We are the experts of our own land. We spend most of our time out in the fields or checking on the crops. When we do meet at the house, it’s usually to talk about practical things like transport or prices. We keep things simple and real. We don't have time for anything that isn't helping the work get done. It’s a quiet life in Warud, but it is busy in its own way. We are just local people trying to make a decent living from what we grow. That is really all there is to it. We stay busy and keep our boots dirty every day.
