Sant Muktai Agro is based at Dl/43 in Kinhi, Savdat. If you come looking for us, you’ll find us right there among the fields. We are farmers first and business people second, though we are trying to get better at the second part. Life in Kinhi moves at its own pace, mostly depending on what the season is. We started this producer company because we saw that we were all facing the same problems with getting our crops to market and getting good seeds. It didn't make sense to keep struggling alone. Now, we use the space at Dl/43 to store some things and meet up to plan. We don't have any professional staff or people in suits. It is just us, with dirt under our fingernails, trying to make the math work. Some days we talk about the rains, other days we talk about the pests that are eating the leaves. We try to share the tools we have so everyone can get their work done on time. It is a lot of trial and error, honestly. We don’t have all the answers, but we know the land here very well. We are just trying to build something that lasts for our kids, so they don't have it as tough as we did. It’s plain and simple work for people who understand what it means to sweat for a living every day.
