S. Kumar'S Satpuda Fresh Producer Company Limited is based out of Survey No. 30 in Bhivkundi, which is in the Morshi taluka. This is a very rural area, which is perfect for what we do. We are a producer company, meaning we work with the local farmers to get their crops sorted and ready. The Satpuda range isn't too far off, and that influences the weather and the soil here quite a bit. Our office is just a plain building on the survey land. It’s not where you’d find a big executive in a leather chair. It’s more likely you’ll find someone with dirt on their shoes from being out in the fields checking the progress. Morshi is known for its agriculture, especially the oranges, and we are proud to be part of that world. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment in the office. Just the basics to get the job done and keep the records straight. We help the local growers gather their produce so they can sell it better. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to people on their porches. Some days the heat in Bhivkundi is really something else, enough to make you stop for a bit. We just drink plenty of water and keep at it. We are regular people who know a thing or two about farming. We aren't here to give big speeches about the future. We just want to make sure the harvest is handled right this season and the next one too. It's a quiet but busy life out here for us.
