Mrugrani Mahila Agro Producer Company Limited

We’ve been working out of house number 10 on Khaparde Plot in Paratwada for a while now. This is where Mrugrani Mahila Agro Producer Company Limited got its start. It’s mostly just us local women from the area coming together to handle the farming stuff. Shri Gangadharrao Sukhdeorao Gadge lets us use the space here at his house. It’s not a big fancy office or anything, just a regular place where we meet and talk about the crops. Some days are busier than others, especially when the harvest is coming in or when we have to sort through paperwork. We didn't really plan on becoming a big company, it just sort of happened because we needed a way to manage our work better as a group. Paratwada is a good place for this kind of thing because everyone knows everyone. We spend a lot of time discussing seeds and how much we should be selling things for at the market. It’s hard work, and sometimes the weather doesn't help us much, but we keep at it. People stop by the house often to ask questions or just to see what we are doing for the new season. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment here, mostly just basic stuff to get the job done. It's a simple life and a simple business, honestly. We just want to make sure the work gets done right and that the women here have a say in things.
