Melghat Bhumiputra Producer Companylimited is located in Dharni, which is a part of the Amravati district. We are at House Number 5 in Ward Number 2. The name Bhumiputra means sons of the soil, and that is exactly who we are. We live and work in the Melghat region, which is a specific kind of place with its own set of challenges. Most of us are focused on the traditional farming that has been done here for years. We set this company up to give ourselves a bit more power when it comes to selling what we grow. It is tough being a small farmer when you are far away from the big cities. We wanted a way to organize so we could get better supplies and reach more buyers. Our office in Dharni is pretty modest.
