Mangrul Kambe is a small place in Murtijapur, and that is where you will find us at House No. 125. We started Mangrul Kambe Schedule Caste Seed Producer Company Limited to help out with the seed situation here in Akola. Seed production is a lot of waiting and watching. You have to be careful with the quality, or the whole season is wasted for everyone. Our office isn’t anything special, just a room in the village where we keep our files and meet up. Most of the people involved are from around here. We know the soil in this part of Maharashtra pretty well. When the planting season comes, things get very busy and the house is full of people. We aren’t a big city firm with shiny desks. We have some chairs, a table, and a lot of talk about cotton or soy or whatever else is in the ground. Akola gets very hot, so we usually get the hard work done early in the day. Being a seed producer company means we have to follow a lot of rules, which can be a headache sometimes. We just try to make sure the farmers in our community get what they need to start their year. It is practical work. We do not spend money on fancy ads. We just live here and do the work that needs doing. There is always something to do with the seeds or the paperwork.
