This is Maa Renuka Farmer Producer Companylimited, and we’re located at House Number 272 in Atuti, Sengaon. It’s a small village, and most of us here have been farming these fields for as long as we can remember. We started this company because we wanted a better way to manage our crops and get them to the market. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. It’s just a few of us using one of our houses as a base to keep things organized. We spend our days out in the fields, checking on the crops and making sure everything is growing like it should. When the harvest comes, things get very busy and we all have to pitch in. We deal with whatever is in season, mostly grains and pulses. We don't have any big advertisements or a sales team. We just rely on the quality of what we grow and our relationships with the people around us. It’s a simple life, but it’s hard work. We have to deal with the heat, the bugs, and the uncertainty of the rain. Sometimes we sit around in the evenings and talk about how things are changing. The younger generation doesn't always want to stay in farming, so we're trying to make it work better for them. We don't have any polished speeches. We just know how to work the ground. Our goal is just to keep the farms in Atuti going and make sure we can take care of our families. It’s honest work, and that’s what we stick to. The office is just a place for papers, but the real work happens under the sun every day.
