We are based out of Amala in Chandur Railway, right at Shri S G Dere’s place. It’s a small operation here at Krupa Santachi Farmer Producer Company Limited, mostly run by those of us who spend our days in the dirt anyway. We started this because doing things alone in farming is getting harder every year. By coming together, we can share the load a bit. The office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we handle the books and talk about the next season. You know how it is in rural areas, everything moves at its own pace. Some days are slow and others we are running around trying to beat the rain. We grow what the land allows and try to keep things honest. It’s not about having a big name or fancy slogans. We just want to make sure the crops we work so hard on actually get somewhere useful. Life here is simple but busy. We have a lot of members now, all local farmers from around the taluka. We talk over tea about prices and seeds. It feels better working this way than trying to fight the market by ourselves. We’re just trying to do right by our families and the land we’ve lived on for generations. It’s honest work, and that’s really all there is to say about us.
