Jyotkranti Mahila Farmar Producer Company Limited is a bit different because it’s focused on the women farmers here in Village Nardoda. We are located at Shri Ganeshrao Sadashivrao Kale’s place in the Daryapur taluka. It’s important for us to have our own thing where we can decide how to handle our produce. In a small village like ours, women do a huge amount of the work in the fields, so having a company like this makes sense. We deal with the same problems as everyone else, like finding good seeds and making sure the soil stays healthy. Daryapur can be a tough place to farm if you don't have support. We meet up at the house to talk about the accounts and who is growing what. It’s a very local thing.
