Hortigrow Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are a group of farmers from around Kavitha Bk. in Chandur Bazar. This thing started at Gaurav Ganeshrao Belsare’s house on Kandli Road. Most of us have been working the land for years, mostly on our own, but it got hard dealing with everything by ourselves. We figured if we worked together under the name Hortigrow Farmers Producer Company Limited, maybe things would get a bit easier for everyone involved. It’s not a big office or anything fancy, just a room where we sit and talk about what we need to plant and where the seeds are coming from this season. Sometimes the rains don't come when they should, and that’s when we really need each other to figure out a plan. We handle the local crops that grow well in this soil. It’s mostly about getting the produce from the fields to the market without losing too much money along the way. People know where to find us because the house number 743 is right there on the road. We spend a lot of time outside, looking at the crops and making sure things are growing okay. It is a lot of hard work, honestly. There are days when the sun is too hot and you just want to quit, but then you see your neighbor working and you keep going. We don’t have any big corporate goals, we just want to make sure our families are taken care of and the farming keeps going for another year.
