Our company is called Dipakjyoti Farmer Producer Company Limited and we are based in Talegaon. That is in the Dhamangaon area of Amravati. Our main contact point is the home of Shri Vinay Bakaramji Chaudhari. We are just a group of farmers from the local area. We don't have a big fancy building. Our office is just a part of a house where we keep our books. We spend most of our time out in the fields. Amravati is where we grow our crops and it can be hard work. We started this group because it’s easier to handle the business side of farming when you are not alone. We don't have any polished marketing or big promises. We just grow what we can and try to sell it for a decent price. Every day is different depending on what the plants need. Sometimes we are dealing with bugs and other times we are waiting for the rain. We talk to each other about these things and try to find solutions. It’s a very local effort and everyone in Talegaon knows who we are. We are just trying to keep the farming life going. It’s a lot of sweat and long hours, but we are used to it. We don't need any big words to describe what we do. We just work the land and hope for a good season.
