Bhumka Baba Farmer Producer Company Limited is based up in Salona, near Chikhaldara. If you know the Amravati area, you know it can be quite hilly and beautiful. We operate out of Shri Tulsiram Jethalal Bachale’s place. It’s a local setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the cities. We are just farmers from this part of the world who wanted to work under one name. Salona is a small place, and most of us have known each other for years. The address is Salona, Chikhaldara, 444807. We spend most of our time dealing with the unique challenges of farming in this terrain. It's not always easy to get things moved around here. The company is just a way for us to be more organized. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. We're just Tulsiram and the rest of the group trying to do right by our crops. It's a lot of manual labor and long days in the sun. When we have meetings, they are usually informal, just sitting around and talking about what needs to be done next. We don't really think of ourselves as 'businessmen' in the way people in Amravati city might. We are just people from the soil. It’s a tough life sometimes, but it’s ours. We just keep going, day by day, and the company helps us stay connected and move things forward together.
