Aakhar Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our place is located in Mozari, which is over in Tiosa tehsil. We use a space care of Prabhakar Ramraoji Deshmukh. Aakhar Farmers Producer Company Limited is mostly just a way for us local farmers to pool what we have and try to make things work a bit better for everyone involved. It isn't a huge operation. Mostly, you will find us talking about the latest prices or looking at the quality of what is coming in from the fields. It’s a lot of work, and some days are better than others. We didn't start this to be some big corporate entity. We just needed a way to handle our produce and deal with the markets without getting lost in the shuffle. The office in Mozari is where we keep the records and meet up when we need to decide on something. It is usually a bit dusty and full of bags or samples. We try to stay organized but it is tough when everyone is busy with their own land too. We have a few people helping out with the paperwork and the lifting. It’s just a regular local setup for people who live and work around here. We know the land in Tiosa well and we just keep at it day after day. It is straightforward work for the most part. There are no secrets or big plans, just the daily farming life.
