We are located over at Raj Bahadur’s place in Zaidpur, which is in Barabanki. This company is basically a group of local women farmers who decided to team up. It isn't anything fancy with big desks or glass windows. Mostly, we spend our time dealing with whatever the season brings, whether it's planting or getting things ready for the market. Being in Barabanki means we’re right where the work happens. We handle the crops ourselves and try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go. Sometimes it gets really busy and the yard is full of sacks, and other times it’s a bit quieter. It’s just us locals trying to make sense of the farming business. We don’t really do big speeches or have a grand plan, we just want to get a fair price for what we grow. Working together as a group helps because doing it all by yourself is tough these days. You can find us at the address in Zaidpur, near Mutafarik Abdi. If you stop by, you’ll probably see us sorting through produce or talking about the next harvest. It’s practical work. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated systems. It is just about the land and the people who work it every day. We’ve been at this for a bit now and we’re still learning how to manage everything better as a team.
