Mohanganjtiloi Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our little group is located right in Amethi. Specifically, we are over at Sunil Kumar’s place in Tiloi Bhelai Khurd. It’s near Hanswa Mohanganj if you are familiar with the area. We are just a bunch of local farmers who decided to pool our resources together. It’s not some big corporate thing with a glass building. It’s just us in a regular house, working on ways to make our farming life a bit easier. We spend most of our time out in the fields, so the office is often empty during the day. We grow what the soil here allows. Amethi has its own way of doing things, and we stick to that. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a mission statement on the wall. We just want to get a fair price for our crops. Sometimes we sit around and talk about the seeds or the latest rain. It’s a very simple operation. We help each other out with tools and advice when someone is having a hard time. The paperwork is something we handle ourselves, even if it gets a bit confusing sometimes. We aren’t looking to get rich quick or anything like that. We just want to keep our farms going for the next year. If you come by Tiloi, you’ll see we are just regular people.
