We are located at E 6 in Sector 21 of the Industrial Area in Jagdishpur. It might seem a bit different being in an industrial zone, but Amethi Moonj Producer Company Limited is really about the traditional work we do. We work with moonj, which is something people around here have used for a long time. It’s a lot of manual work, sitting and crafting things by hand. We wanted a proper space to organize everything, so we got this spot in the sector. It helps us keep the materials in one place and gives the workers a roof over their heads. Most of us come from the surrounding villages where this skill is passed down. We don't have a marketing team or people in offices. We just focus on getting the work done and finding people who want what we make. Sometimes the power goes out or the transport is late, but we just keep going. It’s a practical way to keep a local tradition alive while also trying to run a real business. We are still learning how the corporate side of things works, like filing papers and keeping records, but we are getting there. It is just us, some grass, and a lot of patience. If you come by the industrial area, you’ll see we are just regular folks trying to make a living. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy and pays the bills for our families.
