Mundawar Krishak Vikas Producer Company Limited is located over in Saray Kalan in the Alwar district. We operate out of Mam Chand Jat Sahay’s place. It’s a local operation, through and through. Everyone who works here is involved in farming in some way. Alwar has its own way of doing things, and we try to stick to that. We are a producer company, which basically means we are a bunch of farmers working as one. We deal with the stuff grown in the Mundawar area. It’s not always pretty. Sometimes there’s mud on the floor and the paperwork gets a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. We don't have a website or a fancy phone system. If you need us, you just come to Saray Kalan and ask for us. We spend our time figuring out how to get the best for our members. It’s about the community here. We share what we know and try to make sure nobody gets left behind. The seasons dictate our schedule. When it’s time to sow, we are all busy. When it’s time to harvest, we are even busier. We just take it as it comes. It’s a practical way to live and work. We are just regular people doing our best with the land we have, keeping the traditions alive while trying to survive.
