Talesara Inter College

Talesara Inter College is found in the village of Talesara, which is out in the Aligarh district. Being in a rural spot like this means we are a big part of the local life. Most of our students come from the farms and houses nearby. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We have the main building where the classes happen and some open space for the kids to run around. Life here follows the seasons. When it’s harvest time, things might feel a bit different, but the school keeps its routine. We aren’t a big institution with a lot of money. We use what we have to make sure the kids in Talesara get their education. The teachers are often from the same area, so they understand the struggles the families face. We spend our days going through the curriculum and making sure the students stay on track. It gets dusty when the wind blows across the fields, and the rooms can get quite warm, but we just get on with it. There’s a sense of togetherness here because we all know each other. We’re just trying to provide a decent place for the youth of this village to learn their lessons and move up in the world. It’s simple, honest work that we do every day. We feel a lot of pride when we see our students passing their exams and going off to bigger colleges or starting work. It makes all the effort of running the college worthwhile for everyone involved.
