D. S. Degree College

D. S. Degree College is located right near Achal Taal on the G.T. Road here in Aligarh. Being in Uttar Pradesh, specifically in the 202001 area, means we are in a very busy part of town. The G.T. Road always has trucks and rickshaws moving past. We have been sitting here for years, watching the city grow around us. It is an old building, maybe not as shiny as the newer ones, but it does the job for the students who come here. We don’t have any big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a college where people come to get their degrees and move on with their lives. The landmark of Achal Taal makes it easy for anyone to find us. If you are from Aligarh, you probably know the spot. The gates are usually open during the day. Inside, it's mostly classrooms and offices. We try to keep the place running smoothly, though sometimes the electricity goes out or the rain makes things a bit messy. That’s just life on the G.T. Road. We don't make big promises. Students come in, they study, and they leave. We’ve seen many groups pass through over the seasons. It’s a local institution, plain and simple. Nothing more to it than that. We just focus on keeping the classes going and maintaining the building as best as we can given its age.
