Swami Krishna Nand Inter College

Swami Krishna Nand Inter College is located in the town of Jalali, which is a small place in the Aligarh district. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the town area, near the post office. People around here just call it the college. It’s an inter college, so we have students from the higher classes mostly. The building has been around for a bit and it shows its age here and there, but it’s a solid place. We don’t have any big fancy signs or anything like that. Students walk in from the surrounding parts of Jalali and even from some of the smaller villages nearby. It’s a quiet town for the most part, except for when the school bell rings and everyone spills out into the street. The routine is the same every day. We open up, classes happen, and we close down. There’s a lot of chalk dust and stacks of notebooks everywhere. Sometimes the local monkeys cause a bit of a fuss on the roof, but we are used to that. Aligarh is known for its universities, but here in Jalali, we just focus on our own small patch. It’s important for the local kids to have a place close by so they don’t have to travel all the way into the city every day. It is just a normal part of life in the village area where everyone knows everyone else.
