S.T.K.M.College

S.T.K.M. College is located right here in the town of Ganjdundwara, which is situated within the Etah district. Most people around here just call the place by its initials instead of using the full name every time. It’s an older institution, and you can really see that in the building itself, which has thick stone walls and a very traditional layout that hasn't changed much. We have a lot of students who come in from the surrounding rural areas and smaller villages nearby. They usually arrive by train or the public bus since the station isn't too far of a walk from our main gate. The college grounds are actually quite large, with some big open spaces where the students like to gather and talk between their classes. We have various different departments, and each one has its own specific wing or set of rooms in the main building. The library is a bit cramped and smells like old paper, but it has all the books and resources that the students actually need for their semester exams. We don't have any of those modern glass and steel buildings you see in the bigger cities. It's a very traditional and grounded setup here. The staff members have mostly been working here for many years, and we have a lot of long-standing traditions that we still follow today. Sometimes the plumbing in the old bathrooms acts up or we need to find the budget to repaint a hallway.
