Sbbm Inter College

Sbbm Inter College is located in Aligarh, a city known for its schools and colleges. We are one of many, but we’ve been around for a long time. The building shows its age in some spots, with worn steps and old windows, but it has a lot of character. We handle older students here, so the vibe is a bit different than a primary school. There’s more focus on exams and what comes after school. The classrooms are filled with rows of benches and large chalkboards. In the winters, it can get a bit chilly in the rooms, so everyone wears their thick sweaters. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We rely on the teachers to explain the subjects and the students to put in the effort. There’s a courtyard where students hang out between classes, usually talking about their upcoming tests or cricket. The staff room is always full of tea cups and piles of notebooks that need marking. We don't use fancy marketing brochures to get people to come here. Most of our students are brothers or sisters of former students. It’s a local institution. Aligarh is a place that values education, and we try to live up to that in our own simple way. It’s hard work for the teachers and the kids, but that’s just how life is. We keep the gates open and the lights on every single day.
