Essence Bio Tech is down in the Chemical Industrial Estate at Aroor, which is in the Alleppey area. If you come by, you’ll see we are at No. 1/307. It’s definitely an industrial vibe here. There are a lot of pipes, tanks, and the smell of chemicals in the air, which is just part of the job. We spend most of our time dealing with the technical side of bio-tech. It involves a lot of monitoring and making sure the temperatures and mixtures are exactly where they need to be. It’s not the kind of work you can rush through. We have to be careful and follow the steps every single time. Some days are long, especially when we’re in the middle of a batch. The office part of the building is where we handle the orders and the regulatory stuff, which is a lot of paperwork. We’ve been in Aroor for some time now and we’re used to the rhythm of the estate. It's not a place for people who want to stay perfectly clean all day. We get our hands on the equipment and we make sure everything is running. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny facade. We just want the products to be high quality and for the work to be done safely. It’s a specialized field, but we treat it like any other job that needs doing right.
