Lalit Steels

Lalit Steels is over by the railway crossing near Aam Ka Talab. We are in the Shakti Nagar area of Naka Madar. It’s a busy little corner of the world. You can hear the trains passing by all day long and the signal bells are like our background music. The pond nearby, Aam Ka Talab, is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. Our shop is filled with different types of steel and we spend our time cutting and moving pieces for whoever drops by. It is a family thing, mostly. We aren't trying to build an empire, just making sure we have enough stock for the local builders and smiths. The dust from the road settles on everything so we are always wiping down the desks. It gets quite hot in the summer and the metal gets too warm to touch without gloves. We don't have a marketing team or a sales manager, just me and a couple of guys who know how to handle the material. We usually have a bit of a laugh while we work, even when the orders are piling up and the rain is leaking through the roof. It’s an old building but it has character. We know the people around here and they know where to find us when they need steel. We’ve been at this for a long time and we like the routine of it.
