Manish Metal Works

Manish Metal Works is located over in Pratap Nagar. It’s a noisy place, as you can imagine with metal work. We’ve got saws and hammers going for most of the day. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep up. We don't have a big office or fancy chairs. Most of the time, I’m standing up or moving heavy pieces of iron and steel around. Pratap Nagar is a good area for this kind of work because there are other shops nearby, so we can always find parts or help if we need it. People know us because we’ve been here for a long time. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just hear the noise and see the sign and come in. It’s hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we have a couple of big fans that help a little. Sometimes we have to work late to finish a specific job, but that’s just part of the trade. We don't make a big deal out of it. We just do the work, collect the payment, and move on to the next task. My clothes usually have a few small holes from sparks, but that’s just life at Manish Metal Works. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, do what needs doing, and go home. That is all there is to it here in Pratap Nagar. We keep the doors open from morning until we are done.
