Jadam Mobile Shop

Jadam Mobile Shop is located at number 67 on Kutcheri Road. Being near the courts means we get a lot of lawyers and clerks coming in during their breaks. They are usually in a rush and need their phones charged or a quick fix for a button that stopped working. The road outside is often dusty because of all the construction and the cars passing by, so we have to wipe down the glass every couple of hours. The shop is pretty basic. We have a few chairs for people to sit on while they wait, and a small television in the corner that is usually tuned to the news. We sell a lot of pre-paid cards and simple accessories like earphones. I’ve been running this place myself, so if I have to step out for a minute to get lunch, I have to pull the shutter halfway down. It’s not a big operation, just a one-room shop with a workbench and some display cabinets. Some days are very quiet and I just sit here and read the paper until someone walks in. Other days, I don’t even have time to sit down. We don't have any big signs or bright flashing lights. People mostly know us because we have been at this address on Kutcheri Road for years. It’s just a steady, simple business where we try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door.
