Disha Mobile & Travels

Disha Mobile & Travels is located right at Laxmi Chowk in the Naya Bazar area. We decided to do two things at once because it made sense for us. On one side, we handle mobile phones, doing repairs and selling accessories. On the other side, we help people with their travel plans. Laxmi Chowk is a very busy intersection, so we see people from all over. If someone needs a bus ticket or a train booking, they come to us. If their screen is cracked, they bring that too. It is a small shop and it can get quite cramped when a few people are waiting. We have a couple of chairs for customers, but they are usually taken. Naya Bazar is always full of energy, and being at the chowk means we are right in the middle of it. We are not travel agents with fancy brochures; we just get on the computer and find the best routes for people. We do not have a big team, just a few of us working together. It is a practical business. We try to be helpful and get things done quickly because people are always in a hurry. We have been at Laxmi Chowk for a while now and we know the rhythms of the street. It is just a normal, hardworking shop for the local community.
